How much is MAPSC membership?

  • $25 per year
  • $15 per semester

What are the benefits of joining MAPSC?

  • MAPSC is the only organization on the USC Health Science campus that works with other interdisciplinary groups to be able to implement shared decision-making and gain access to opportunities such as the Mock OSCE, street medicine clinics, etc.
  • Opportunities to meet preceptors and make connections
  • Opportunities to expand your CV and gain experience in hands-on clinical settings
  • MAPSC members have priority when signing up for MAPSC clinics and health fairs
  • Active members receive MAPSC cords during graduation
  • New members can receive a MAPSC designed T-shirt

Who is considered an active member?

  • Students must pay yearly or semesterly dues to be considered active for that period
  • Students must attend mandatory clinic training event to be able to participate in MAPSC clinics
    • Keck Family Medicine Interest Group (Interdisciplinary Care)
    • Keck Transitions in Health Program (CMM)
    • Healthcare in Action (Street Medicine)
    • Health Fairs
  • Attend at least three MAPSC sponsored events per year
    • Maximum of one Social Event can be considered for credit
  • Obtain one fundraising credit by supporting MAPSC during fundraising week

Are there any board positions available?

  • Board positions become available as students progress in the pharmacy curriculum.
  • Follow our social media accounts for frequent updates board position availability and applications.

  • MAPSC board application form
  • Updated CV
  • Application process will be followed by an interview
